Steam Generator
Burns solid fuel while boiling water into steady energy. The workhorse generator: cheap to build, runs on anything a furnace burns.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Output | 10 E/tick while burning |
| Buffer | 10,000 E |
| Max push | 32 E/tick |
| Water tank | 4,000 mB, uses 1 mB/tick while burning |
| Lava tank | 4,000 mB, used when the fuel slot is empty |

Interactions
- Water arrives three ways: right-click with a water bucket, water buckets in the bucket slot (hopper friendly, empties are returned), or a Fluid Pipe from a Water Pump or Water Tank.
- Lava piped in from a Lava Pump acts as backup fuel: 1 mB burns for 20 ticks, the vanilla lava bucket rate. Solid fuel is used first.
- Pushes energy through Copper Cables and directly into touching machines.
- Both burning fuel and water are required. No water means no power.
- Logs from a Lumber Station smelt into charcoal in an Electric Furnace, making a fully renewable fuel loop.
Tips
Coal burns 80 seconds and yields 16,000 E. A lava pool via Lava Pump is effectively infinite fuel.
